By Christine Kitano, Student Intern of Chass College Computing
The website for the UCR/California Museum of Photography has been nominated for a Pixel Award in the Art category. Each year the Pixel Award honors 20 websites that have demonstrated excellence in web design and development. The judges are made up of executive managers and visionaries from a variety of industries – art and design, marketing and advertising, product developments and technology, and usability. The websites are evaluated on innovation, content, navigation, visual design, functionality, innovation, and overall site experience.
Along with the nomination for the Pixel Award is the opportunity for the UCR/California Museum of Photography website to win the 2006 Pixel People’s Champ Award. The winning website is voted on by visitors to the Pixel Awards site.
