Riverside City Approves $2.25 Million
for Funding for the Culver Center of the Arts

Plans for the development of the Culver Center of the
Arts are on the way to becoming a reality. The City
of Riverside approved the call for funding in the amount
of $2.25 million at the City Council meeting Tuesday,
December 22nd. UC Riverside, the key planner and developer
for the future downtown Riverside art center, is thrilled.
This extraordinary project has funding from the State
of California and a private donation from the Culver
family. Now that the wait for the City of Riverside’s
final contribution has ended, the project can proceed
