Who must report outside activities and what must be reported?

The policy on Conflict of Commitment and Outside Professional Activities (APM 025) has recently been revised. Faculty are limited to 39 days of outside activities during the academic year, with further restrictions on the summer period if also paid from university sources. All faculty are required to report annually on their activities and report the number of days spent on each activity. For certain categories of activities, faculty must receive prior approval from their chair to participate.
